This has been a crazy journey so far! When I moved from Bolivia to attend HSU, the culture shock was strong, and it made me doubt if I could make this place my home. I was surprised, however, by the kindness and support I received. I have never encountered so many wonderful people and magical places than here at Humboldt. Now nothing makes me feel more at home than the redwoods and the marsh. I wanted to thank my family and friends for their patience, support and love. To my family, thank you for always believing in me even when I lost faith in myself. To my friends, thank you for staying by my side during these strange times and giving into my craziness. Even though my time here is coming to an end, Humboldt and all of its critters will always be my home.
